Starting to collect & consolidate information on Ralph Stephen Osborn — as I go through old files, etc. downsizing our “stuff.” I think this’ll be a fun way for our “progeny” to have some family history. “Grandpa,” Dad, husband of 47 years. Yikes.

HOW ODOT (OREGON DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION) HELPS PROTECT POLLINATOR HABITAT PDF
— Partnerships help ODOT balance its safety efforts with habitat preservation. Here are a few examples:
— ODOT has partner with the Oregon State Federation of Garden Clubs to plant wildflowers along highway rights of way.
–ODOT is partnering with a central coast community to implement a pollinator pilot along 25 miles of U.S. 101 that supports wildflower plantings with pollinator-compatible maintenance practices.
— We seek input from experts with the Oregon Department of Agriculture and others to learn how our practices can be most effective in supporting pollinator needs.

Sometimes I think it must be my Amish ancestry but I have a hard time wearing jewelry. Either it doesn’t feel right, or it sits crooked on my neck, or I constantly lose earrings….bracelets clank on the desk, power tools don’t feel safe…
I’ve been wearing overalls since I was a kid, all through college in the 70’s & now, as I turn 70….still wearing them. Every day. Can’t understand why everyone doesn’t. 🙂
For “jewelry” these days, I like to attach a terracotta clay ornament that I use as an essential oil diffuser. Usually peppermint that seems to help me focus.
The ornament attaches easily with arthritic fingers. 🙂
A wee bit of Easter whimsey for the seasonal display table or organic fairy garden.
An amazing creature — In the year 2022 the neighborhood is home to a free ranging flock of seven.
Whether it’s called a creche, nativity, manger scene, putz, belen, or nacimiento, the art form that depicts the physical entrance of God taking on the form of man is a beloved tradition.
